Dokkaebi (Korean Spirit)
The technology to create a life-destroying nuclear bomb is possessed by nations across the world. But the technology to create a life-giving nuclear arsenite — that is mine alone. And so I dream, always. Dreams come true.
I have a dream: to export this life-giving mineral to the world, build a great fortune, and do what I was meant to do. If it were not written in my destiny, it would be nothing but a fool's dream — but it is written in my destiny, and I have not yet drawn upon even a fraction of the blessings left to me by my father.
I once watched a scene in the Korean drama Dokkaebi, where someone who had saved their country in a past life was given a home and a fine car. I remember thinking — when did that writer learn of my dream, and put it on screen?
I want to find those who have lived as devoted children, loyal subjects, mothers who raised many children, and neighbors who gave of themselves freely — and give them homes, cars, and the means to live with dignity.
I am certain this will come to pass. To make the world's finest bamboo salt, I have spent 30 years pouring in my soul, grinding down my bones and flesh, and infusing every grain with wholehearted compassion.
Is there a nation on earth that does not use salt? Is there anywhere in the world a salt that is both delicious and restorative to one's health? Today, as every day, I press forward without tiring for even a single second — toward the fulfillment of that dream.
